This week’s Anthem is brought to you by Peachy Insurance. If you’re like most homeowners, it’s probably been a while since you last reviewed your coverage. A quick check can help make sure your policy still fits your life.
As a special offer for Anthem readers, if you fill out this form and complete an insurance quote from a licensed Peachy Insurance agent, they’ll thank you with a $10 gift card from El Tesoro.
Peachy Insurance is not affiliated with El Tesoro. E-Gift card will be sent to the email address provided within 7 days of completing the quote.
What’s up West Side?? Happy Friday. Have you gotten your insurance quote from Peachy yet? One reader did and now they’re saving $1,200 a year. And they got a $10 gift card from El Tesoro… that’s what I call a WIN-WIN.
Anyway… we’ve almost done it. A few hours and it will be the weekend. And we’ve got a great one ahead of us.
Looks like we might have some rain, but I can tell you one thing. That isn’t going to stop the West side.
Let’s get into this week’s Anthem 👇

The Anthem is made possible in part by El Tesoro West End & South Downtown, a neighborhood treasure serving good quality food at reasonable prices. See the menu here.
🌮 El Tesoro is celebrating National Tequila Day on Friday at both their West End & South Downtown locations with too many specials to list. And they’re keeping things going on Saturday with National Mezcalita Day.
🍽️ Summerland, the new concept from Star Provisions at Upper West Market, is officially open, with the full menu up and reservations available.
🍸 Füm dropped $5 happy hour classics, Aperol Spritz, Martini, Old Fashioned, Negroni, Margarita, plus $1.50 oysters, daily 5:30-7 PM, bar and high tops only.
🥃 Barrel Proof is hosting a curated Maker's Mark tasting, $60 gets you four pours including their 2026 Star Hill Farm release, guided by a whisky education class. Can't make the class? They're doing a happy hour with a specialty cocktail menu too.
🍑 When life gives you peaches, The Optimist makes Peach Pudding Cake, topped with cream and a crumble.
🍦 Little Sparrow is also feeling peachy, soft serve swirled with peaches and a crumble, served in one of those beautiful glass cups.
☕ Spiller Park Coffee now does office catering boxes, fresh coffee, house-made bagels, and pastries "worth showing up early for." Email [email protected] to book.
🍸 Craft cocktails and a view. Boone's is leaning into effortless patio afternoons this summer.
🐟 La Tropical's fried red snapper, tostones, and a Puerto Rican piña colada make for a solid patio lunch at Chattahoochee Food Works.
🐟 Cruel and unusual: Good Azz Burgerz posted this fried fish basket just to ask if Fish Fry Fridays should come back. Obviously.
🍽️ Bovino After Dark rotates its menu weekly, this weekend brings hanger steak with red habanada chermola, duck and kimchi steam buns, and a Fruit Loops mango dessert to close it out.
🍍 Is it dessert or a cocktail? Your 3rd Spot says yes with their new Pineapple Margarita Soft Serve, vanilla soft serve blended with pineapple, lime, and tequila.
🔒 Sammy's and Broad Street BBQ are both taking a beat. Sammy's is back July 27th, Broad Street BBQ back July 29th.
