Happy Friday to the West Side! Have you heard? The World Cup is coming to Atlanta!
Kidding of course. Things are really really ramping up and I’m pumped. I caught the Champions League final at the Monday Night Grove and that place is going to be ELECTRIC during big World Cup matches.
Anyway, we’ve got another great weekend ahead of us, let’s get into this Friday’s Anthem 👇

The Anthem is made possible in part by El Tesoro West End & South Downtown, a neighborhood treasure serving good quality food at reasonable prices. See the menu here.
🌮 El Tesoro South Downtown is almost ready and it is going. to. be. awesome. Just look at this patio.
☕ Coffee Man is dropped their summer menu today, featuring a Peach Cobbler Latte, Matcha Mangonada, Dole Whipped Cold Brew, and Blue Birthday Cake Latte.
🐙 Cooks & Soldiers added a few new dishes rooted in Basque tradition, including crispy artichokes with lemon aioli, a hamachi crudo, and Spanish octopus over a bright green sauce.
🥧 Pie Bar has been quietly up and running in West Midtown, but Sunday they're throwing a proper party at Westside Market. Espresso from Alma, snacks from Two Birds Taphouse, and a shot at a free pie. 12-3pm, 6/7.
🍜 Flying Fish's Poké & Ramen Station at Chattahoochee Food Works just got a fresh new look. Same sushi, ramen, and poké bowls, new space.
🍅 A savory scone studded with tomato and finished with rosemary sugar? Spiller Park is doing things over there, and they're sticking around all summer.
🥗 The Westwood rolled out new summer additions including a Summer Salad, a Short Rib Plate, and a Chilean Salmon Platter. The comments are already losing it over that salad.
🍽️ Alone Together officially opened its doors this week, bringing Haitian-French-Creole cooking and a chef-driven non-alcoholic bar to Atlanta. The sober-curious among us just got a serious new option.
