🌮 El Tesoro West End took a quick break this week for maintenance but they’re back and ready for Brunch (served ‘til 2pm every Sat & Sun).
🍕 Howell's Kitchen+Bar rolled out their August Specials: Watermelon Salad, Hang 10 Pizza, Melbourne Minis, and a Smoked Pork Chop with cornbread. Bonus, their parking garage is finally back open, first two hours free.
🥪 Today's the day. Bar Blanc's Friday French dip and Hugo spritz special runs 11am-2pm, pick East Coast (shaved 12-hour prime rib and jus) or West Coast (caramelized onions, melted cheese), then ride the day-drinking menu from there.
🍗 Lucky Star's Taiwanese Fried Chicken Sandwich is crispy, stacked, and built to get you through the afternoon.
🍹 Monday Night Grove has more than beer FYI, see their Spicy Pineapple Margarita, rimmed in Tajin and built with chili arbol.
🟨 Ladybird is coming to west midtown and dropped a fancy little teaser video promising more details to come soon.
🎯 This video from Ormsby's really struck a nerve. they've declared they're bringing the bar back to it's glory days. The reel is currently sitting at 392k views and 18.5k comments.
🅿️ South Downtown now has 2 hours of free parking across three lots via Bottle Rocket, at 194 Mitchell St (Popular Lot), 172 Mitchell St (Elm Lot), and 165 Mitchell St (Redbud Lot). Good news for anyone grabbing food or drinks at Glide, Broad Street BBQ, or El Tesoro.
🌮 Muchacho's "Sunset Sessions" happy hour is standing all day Monday and 3-6pm Tuesday-Friday, with $6 margs, $7 rotating cocktail, and $8 Tecate + tequila, plus nachos, crunchwraps, and tamale tots.
🍹 CTR Food Works turns the weekend into a mini getaway with a rum-based cocktail menu running Aug 15-16, plus a live DJ Saturday from 4-7pm.
🎲 Holiday Bar at The Interlock just rolled out a weekly lineup worth building your evenings around: Game Night with Your Crush (every other Tuesday), ½ off wine bottles (Wednesdays), and Sunset Sessions with rotating DJs (Thursdays).

🗑️ Price of the trash is going up!? There’s a $53 million (🤯) budget shortfall for solid waste at the Atlanta Public Works Department, meaning trash pickup prices could go up by 23% by 2028.
📈 While the broader Atlanta region's growth is cooling off (up 1.0% this year, down from 1.2%), the City of Atlanta itself is bucking the trend, adding nearly 7,000 residents on the back of new multifamily housing in Midtown and along the Beltline. Fulton County posted the region's strongest growth at 1.9%.
🔑 85 Peachtree, a new boutique apartment community in the historic Bass Dry Goods Building, is now leasing in South Downtown. Tours are happening all week.
