This week’s Anthem is brought to you by Peachy Insurance. If you’re like most homeowners, it’s probably been a while since you last reviewed your coverage. A quick check can help make sure your policy still fits your life.
As a special offer for Anthem readers, if you fill out this form and complete an insurance quote from a licensed Peachy Insurance agent, they’ll thank you with a $10 gift card from El Tesoro.
Peachy Insurance is not affiliated with El Tesoro. E-Gift card will be sent to the email address provided within 7 days of completing the quote.
What is up West Side?? Hopefully some of you were in the room with me at El Tesoro’s west end location on Wednesday night for the USMNT win. If you haven’t watched a match there yet, I’d give it a shot this weekend.
Anyone elses AC die on them this week during the heat wave? It happened to me and it was…. not fun.
Anyway, we’ve got a great holiday weekend ahead of us. Let’s get into this week’s Anthem 👇

The Anthem is made possible in part by El Tesoro West End & South Downtown, a neighborhood treasure serving good quality food at reasonable prices. See the menu here.
🌯 El Tesoro’s showing all World Cup matches at both their West End location and their new South Downtown location. Where are you watching?
🍸 The Optimist has a new cocktail called the Sunbird: reposado tequila, mezcal, guava, lime, and spicy agave. They're also open at 3pm now with the full dinner menu.
🍔 Frazie's Meat & Market packed a full 4th of July cookout into their $100 America's Box: 4 cowboy burgers, 4 BBQ steak kabobs, Snake River Farms hot dogs, Martin's potato buns, and Henri's brioche buns. Available through Saturday.
🥂 Cooks & Soldiers launched a Txikiteo Happy Hour with specially priced pintxos and bebidas at the bar, Monday through Friday from 5-7pm.
🔴 Same jerk chicken. Same red tray. Eats is dishing out the classic combo at Wild Heaven West End.
🥪 Egg sandwich cravings don't keep business hours, and Egg Flip gets it: their breakfast-through-dinner menu runs until 9 or 10pm daily at The CTR downtown and Chattahoochee Food Works.
🍗 We'd like to formally thank whoever decided Little Rey's charcoal chicken wings needed a jalapeño ranch on the side.
🍕 Phew's Pies is telling their story. The new "Through the Fire" series has the pizza maker stepping out from behind the oven for candid talks about how the business got here.
🍺 Monday Night Grove’s still serving their country-based World Cup menu for the summer of soccer: Czech sausage rolls, a Spanish cheese and meat cup, and a Paella-inspired 2X ÑEIPA, plus more beers, cocktails, and mocktails sorted by country.
🇫🇷 I’ve shared this before, but dang, these Friday French Dips from Bar Blanc look so good… Who’s had one?
